What Layatire is

Layatire is a platform that helps students find tutors and book lessons. We are not the tutor and we are not the student. We provide the software that connects you.

Who can use Layatire

• You must be at least 13 years old.
• If you are under 18, you need parental or guardian consent to book sessions.
• You must provide accurate information when you register.
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe.

How bookings work

• A student requests a session; the tutor can confirm or decline it.
• The session time is stored in your local timezone.
• Once both parties agree, the session is confirmed.
• After the lesson, the tutor marks it as completed.

Payments

Students pay tutors directly, using whatever method the tutor accepts. Layatire does not handle student payments.

Tutors pay Layatire a small commission on completed sessions. The commission rate depends on the tutor's region. Commission is invoiced monthly.

Cancellations

• Cancel more than 24 hours before a session: free, no charge.
• Cancel less than 24 hours before: the tutor may charge for the session.
• Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in account suspension.

Conduct

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse anyone on the platform.
• Share another person's private information without consent.
• Use Layatire to send spam or unsolicited advertising.
• Attempt to break, hack, or overload the service.

Children

If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must consent to your use of Layatire. If we learn that a minor is using the platform without consent, we will suspend the account.

Our liability

Layatire provides the platform "as is." We do not guarantee that lessons will meet your expectations, that tutors will always be available, or that the service will never be interrupted. We are not responsible for the conduct of tutors or students off the platform.

Non-payment by tutors

Tutors who fail to pay commission may have their accounts suspended and their profiles hidden from students. Continued non-payment may result in account deletion.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email.
